STUDENTS
Every student could use some support to navigate this academic and personal journey. At Arbor we have a variety of intellectual, cultural, spiritual and social activities that help students form deep friendships and grow in the skills they need to enjoy balanced, meaningful lives now and in their future.
SATURDAY ACTIVITIES
Every Saturday at 11am there is an activity for students.
Some past activities include:
-
a session on dating and marriage where couples shared their experience
-
a course to better understand personality types
-
a guest speaker on a topic of interest
-
a time of prayer guided by a priest
-
an outreach activity to serve the poor or elderly
-
a movie followed by a discussion
-
other recreational activities such as a hike, picnic or pizza party

STUDY ROOM
From 8.30am to 7pm on weekdays, the study room at Arbor provides a conducive environment for academic and professional study and work. We also have collections of reference books and textbooks, literature and spiritual reading available for use.

RECOLLECTIONS
Once a month, on the second Saturday, from 11am to 1pm, the activity for students is a recollection.
This gives students the chance to pause and reflect on their lives in dialogue with God.

RETREATS
During the year, there are opportunities to join a retreat for students, over a weekend from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, at the beautiful Ducks Dam Hall conference centre in Pretoria West.

ROAD and TeenSTAR
Arbor proudly hosts the ROAD Leadership
and TeenSTAR programmes.
These programmes encourage students to grow in self-knowledge by integrating different aspects of the person and her relationships. They also help them to be confident and in charge of their lives and to make positive change in the lives of others.

"Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions, or even at their difficulty, as at the love with which we do them."
